Where to find the HERTZ desk at Barcelona airport

In Terminal 1, the HERTZ rental desk is in the Arrivals hall. In Terminal 2, the Hertz rental desk is inside T2B Arrivals. Hertz has additional branches in the centre of Barcelona and at the Barcelona Sants train station.

What insurance is included?

Basic insurance cover includes third-party liability insurance, collision damage waiver, theft protection, and basic breakdown assistance.

What additional cover is there?

The company’s Super Cover reduces the excess to zero and included glass and tyres cover and Personal Emergency Roadside Cover. If you purchase Super Cover, you won't pay an excess in the event of any claim, and you do not need to leave a deposit.

What extras are available?

Are there any restrictions?

The minimum driver age is 25. There is a young driver fee for drivers aged 23-25. Some cars, such as those in the Dream and Prestige collections have further age restrictions. All drivers must have held a driving licence for at least 12 months. There are no mileage restrictions.

If you cancel your booking within seven days, you will receive a refund, after that you will be charged a fee.  You may be able to extend your rental by contacting the office at the pick-up location.
