To Barcelona
AeroBús
The Barcelona Aerobús (A1 and A2) runs between both terminals and Plaça de Catalunya every ten minutes. This is the official shuttle bus service and connects the centre of Barcelona to the Airport terminals throughout the year. The journey time is approximately 35 minutes subject to traffic.
The tickets cost €5,90 one way or €10,20 for a return back to the airport.
or bought from the driver or hostess and auto ticket machines near the Bus stop .
The site is in multiple languages English Dutch French Catalan and Castellano.
The Bus stop has five stops in total Pl. Espanya, Gran Via-Urgell, Pl. Universidad, city center (Pl. Catalunya) and the Airport (both Terminals). There is also a worthwhile 3 minute video detailing exactly where to walk to get to the bus stop from the baggage reclaim.
Their buses are adapted for persons with reduced mobility (PRM)and they have lots of space for travelling luggage. Their service provides Free Wifi and has onboard charging points for smart phones
TMB Route number 46 Bus
Aerobús are not the only players in town however. For the more cost conscious traveller, Bus 46 also connects the airport to Plaça España in fact this route has many more stops which just may be an advantage if the hotel or Airbnb space you are going to is not slap bang in the middle of the main tourist areas.
It also cost €2.20!! Thats just 37% of the Aerobús!! One way of course.
Personally I would consider the Transport card for your city stay as this will further reduce your costs start with a T10 card from their site. By the way remember You CANNOT use the TMB card on the Aerobús.
These buses run less frequently than the Aerobús and they are run by the carrier TMB
As there are more stops on this route your hotel or AirBNB accommodation may well be just a few minutes walk away.

There are two buttons, one to display routes and stops from the airport and the other back to it. The information also includes transit stops and connections.
The TMB website is very good and they also have IOS and Android apps for you whilst on the go.
Both buses also run through the night.
Tickets can be purchased online or in the terminals.
